The scene then shifts to another apartment in the same building, where a couple and a maid are having dinner. They are suddenly drawn to the enchanting tunes wafting from the music teacher's room. Unable to resist, they start dancing and decide to find the source of the music. Upon discovering the professor still playing at the piano, they join in the dance. The narrative then moves to yet another apartment, where a man is napping in a chair, and his wife is engaged in her chores.
