Subsequently, higher authorities issue an order to round up all dogs in the sector due to rabies concerns and the dogs' status as symbols of the newly wealthy. The officers occasionally apprehend minor criminals, such as those selling pornography or running three-card-monte scams. Their days are filled with smoking breaks, meetings, and training sessions, as they patrol on bicycles and enforce regulations.
