Twin Spica (TV Series) (2003) follows the journey of Asumi Kamogawa, a young girl living with her widowed father. Five years prior, a catastrophic rocket launch disaster claimed the life of Asumi's mother and many others when a booster exploded, sending debris into a populated area. Despite the tragedy, Asumi remains captivated by the night sky and nurtures a deep aspiration to become a rocket pilot.
