After the end of the Holy Road tournament and having defeated the Fifth Sector, Tenma travels to Okinawa to teach soccer to young children from different schools founded by Shuuya Goenji. When Tenma returns to Raimon High School, he goes to the soccer club as usual but finds that things have changed. Now the members of Raimon are not soccer players, in fact, the soccer club does not even exist anymore, so the former members of the team now belong to different clubs. This will make Tenma himself wonder if he is in a parallel world. Just then a new enemy named Alpha, captain of Omega Protocol, appears and tries to take away Tenma's beloved soccer. Later, a new companion and friend named Fey Rune appears, who will help Tenma to recover the lost soccer, and that is how a new journey begins for Tenma, in which he will meet new friends and enemies. Tenma and his new companions will form the team "The Tenmas", who will seek to understand the changes that have occurred in space-time and recover the existence of soccer in the world.
