Eraser (1996) follows the story of John Kruger, a dedicated U.S. Marshal tasked with the witness relocation program. His role involves meticulously erasing all traces of a witness's identity and neutralizing any threats against them. Kruger is renowned for his exceptional skills and works independently. When Lee Cullen, a high-ranking executive from a prominent U.S. weapons manufacturer, provides evidence of illicit arms deals to the FBI, Kruger is assigned to safeguard her. However, they soon uncover that the corruption runs deep, involving not just the Cyrex Corporation but also high-ranking government officials. As they become targets of ruthless capitalists, their survival hinges on Kruger's ability to protect them both.
