Verso (2009) follows the intertwined lives of three individuals: Alex, a dedicated police officer; Victor, a former police officer turned convict; and Lou, a teenage girl. Alex's intense focus on his job strains his relationship with his ex-wife and daughter, Lou. When Victor, Alex's childhood friend and former colleague, is released from prison, Alex becomes anxious about Victor's potential for vengeance. Post-release, Victor aligns himself with Ceku, the local mafia boss, as an accomplice. Alex, determined to stay one step ahead, begins to surveil Victor but soon finds himself in a precarious situation.
