Insecticidal (2005) follows the story of a clever sorority student named Cami, whose scientific endeavor into insect cognition takes a disastrous turn. The experiment results in the creation of colossal, mutated insects that begin to prowl a sorority house, with the sorority sisters as their primary target. As the insects grow larger, the girls' food supply dwindles, forcing them into a relentless battle for survival. Armed with whatever they can find, the sorority sisters fight back against the insects, which have more sinister plans than just feeding. Josi, one of the sorority sisters, becomes a host for the next wave of mutant insects, adding a new layer of horror to the situation. Cami and the remaining girls soon understand that the only way to stop the insect menace is to eliminate every last one.
