The Execution (TV) (1985) follows a group of women in a San Diego Wednesday night mah jongg club, all of whom are survivors of a Nazi concentration camp. They are shocked to identify the owner of a local eatery, Walter Grossman, as a former camp doctor who conducted horrific experiments on them during their youth. To their dismay, they discover that he has already faced trial for his war crimes and served only a brief sentence. United by their traumatic past, the women resolve to take matters into their own hands, deciding to "execute" Grossman. They agree to a chilling plan where one of them will carry out the act without revealing their identity to the others, adding a layer of suspense and moral complexity to their quest for justice.
