A Day in a Taxi (1982) follows the story of Johnny (Gilles Renaud), a man who is wrongfully implicated in a bank heist and subsequently incarcerated. Upon his release on a brief 36-hour parole, Johnny hails a taxi driven by Michel (Jean Yanne). As they embark on a journey, Johnny begins to question his involvement in the crime, leading to a series of unexpected events that draw Michel into the chaos.
