Part-Time Divorce (1986) follows the story of Sinisa and Svetlana, a newlywed couple whose honeymoon plans take an unexpected turn. Instead of enjoying their romantic getaway in Spain, they find themselves on the shores of the Montenegrin coast due to a mix-up by their travel agency. Upon their return to Belgrade, Svetlana faces a new challenge: securing an apartment. The housing commission favors divorced mothers with children, so the couple devises an unconventional solution. They decide to become a "part-time divorced" couple to gain an advantage and secure their desired living space.
