Niñas mal (2007) follows the story of Adela, a rebellious teenager with a penchant for tattoos, body piercings, and a recent brush with the law. Her father, fearing that her wild behavior will jeopardize his political ambitions, enrolls her in the last remaining charm school in Mexico City. The school, run by the stern Maca Ribera, promises to transform any young girl into a model of grace and decorum. However, Adela's arrival disrupts the school's orderly environment, leading to a clash of wills between the headstrong student and the determined educator. As Maca attempts to mold Adela into a suitable candidate for the role of First Daughter, the school and its eclectic group of students are turned upside down, resulting in a series of chaotic and humorous events.
