Eduard Toda (1855-1941) was the first Spanish Egyptologist, diplomat in China, the one who rediscovered the Catalan language of Alghero and also the architect of the reconstruction of Poblet and Escornalbou monasteries. This documentary, the result of a research conducted by journalist and writer Toni Orensanz and filmmakers Ramon Masip and Manel Vinuesa, rebuilds the life and career of Toda, covering the key areas of his life.
