Her Grace Commands
1931 · Movie · 96 min. · Germany
In an imaginary kingdom, Princess Marie-Christine goes incognito to a servants' ball where she meets Lieutenant von Conradi and falls in love with him. But both don't tell their real identity. So it's a surprise for the princess when on the next day she sees the supposed delicatessen seller as a dashing lieutenant, but she decides to play the game a little longer. Meanwhile the state minister (Schünzel in one of his very best roles) sets a rather inept detective (Hörbiger) on the heels of the couple, because the Princess is actually to be married off to another aristocrat. The real problems, however, begin when von Conradi finds out who Marie-Christine actually is...
