Lauren Colton has just graduated from grad school and returns to her family’s estate on the sunny Malibu shore. The homecoming, however, is anything but a happy one. Her relationship with her driven, perfectionist father has been strained by his marriage to his new wife, a former model. Stuck in the middle is Lauren’s teenaged (and sheltered) half sister. Lauren’s ex-boyfriend, a distinguished computer whiz, continues to crush on Lauren, to the point where his infatuation begins to border on the obsessive.
