Hold 'Em Yale (1935) follows the tale of a beautiful young socialite who becomes enamored with a charismatic but unscrupulous gambler. When he learns that she has been cut off by her affluent father, he promptly leaves her. Three of the gambler's former accomplices, who have also been deserted by their ex-partner, devise a scheme to bring her to the yearly Yale-Harvard football match, hoping to reunite her with her former love, a sincere but intellectually inclined young man.
