I Live My Life (1935) follows the story of Kay, a wealthy and unfulfilled young woman from New York City, who embarks on a journey to Greece. There, she crosses paths with Terry, a dedicated archaeologist. Kay's playful advances captivate Terry, leading him to develop deep feelings for her. Upon returning to New York, Kay finds Terry pursuing her, eager to propose marriage. However, Terry struggles with the opulence and superficiality of Kay's lifestyle. Initially deciding to depart, he is persuaded by Mrs. Gage, Kay's grandmother, to stay and give their relationship another chance. They eventually become engaged, but just before the wedding, a significant argument erupts between Kay and Terry, leaving their future uncertain.
