Massa Fresca (TV Series) (2016) follows the journey of Maria Miguel, a 21-year-old woman who lost her mother to cancer three years prior to the start of the series. Maria had always dreamed of completing her studies to pursue singing in London, but her plans were derailed when her mother's medical expenses depleted her savings. Now, Maria resides with an elderly woman she affectionately calls "grandmother" and works at a pizzeria. One fateful day, while delivering a pizza, Maria is involved in a car accident while trying to save two teenagers from being hit by another vehicle. The accident leaves her injured, and the grateful parents of the teenagers take her in to help her recover. Maria finds solace in their home and learns more about the family. However, her newfound stability is shattered when the teenagers' parents tragically die in a car accident during their honeymoon. Maria is then tasked with caring for the teenagers, with the assistance of their uncle, who harbors romantic feelings for her, their aunt, who is more interested in the family's wealth, and two housemaids.
