Fossil fuels are depleting, and the Maven Council faces a global crisis. Drastic steps have been taken to ensure society's survival and the line between acceptable sacrifice and ethics blur more with each passing day. Maven Varkaus has spent his life searching for answers to the growing energy crisis. Four years ago, he thought his life work a complete failure. However, a mysterious discovery has come to light, and Varkaus' dreams may soon be realized... and he will let nothing stand in his way. Elsa, a young woman who has clawed her way back from the brink of despair, learns the possible whereabouts of her missing son and sets a plan in motion to get him back, while confronting those responsible for his abduction. A life fractured soon to become whole again...
