Awahara Yukari works in a beverage factory. She works hard and achieves recognition for her work. Yukari is dating the research doctor Koide Kippei. They have lived together for 5 years. One day, Kippei collapses from brain hemorrhage. Yukari soon discovers that everything she knew about her boyfriend was a lie. She hires private detective Kaibara Takumi to investigate Kippei.
