Indra (2002) is a tale of deep-seated enmity between two families, the Indrasens and the Reddys, which dates back to 1965. This feud culminates in the tragic deaths of Indrasen's father and two uncles, with one uncle being killed by his own new wife from the Reddy family. Veer Shiva, a key figure, is arrested, convicted, and imprisoned. Upon his release, he confronts Indrasen and meets his end. His five sons then vow to avenge his death. Meanwhile, Snehlata, their sister, returns from the U.S. and develops feelings for Indrasen, much to the dismay of her brothers, especially Veer Shankar, who would rather sacrifice his own life than be indebted to Indrasen for saving him. During negotiations with the Reddys for land to build a water reservoir, Indrasen loses his property and estate and agrees to marry Snehlata.
