The Last Liquidator (S)

On 26 April 1986 reactor No. 4 of the chernobyl nuclear power plant exploded due to a failure in the electrical system. Communist party officials sent liquidators to retain radioactivity coming out of the reactor core. Nikolai is the last of the survivors who fought to contain the radiation before sealing it with concrete. Astrid Johanson of the Novosti agency wants to interview him, to find out if what happened in the accident could have been avoided. Throughout the interview, Astrid will discover that the preconceived ideas she had, are not completely true.
