Pilar and Juan arrive to Mexico City by train from Veracruz. They switch suitcases by mistake. Curiosity leads them to enter each other's intimacy by becoming familiar with the objects they find in the switched suitcase. Little by little, Pilar's diary and Juan's taperecorder make them realize that they have a lot in common.
