Bolan's Shoes (2022) embarks on a tumultuous voyage from the zenith of T. Rex frenzy in 1970s Liverpool to the present-day significance of what would have been Marc Bolan's 75th birthday. The film vividly portrays the exhilarating heights of glam rock fever through the eyes of a group of enthusiastic children from a local orphanage, whose lives are forever altered by a tragic car accident. Decades later, Penny, a survivor of the accident, and her best friend, a fellow Marc Bolan enthusiast, embark on a pilgrimage to his memorial in London. However, an unexpected encounter there propels Penny back to the traumatic events she had long tried to suppress.
