Babylon A.D. (2008) is set in a near-future world where a seasoned mercenary, Toorop, adheres to a straightforward survival principle: eliminate or be eliminated. His current mission involves escorting a young woman named Aurora from a secluded convent in Kazakhstan to the bustling streets of New York City. Joined by Aurora and her guardian, Sister Rebeka, Toorop embarks on a perilous 6,000-mile journey filled with constant challenges. As the hardened mercenary faces unprecedented trials, he begins to grasp the profound significance of his role in safeguarding humanity's future. For the first time, Toorop must decide whether to make a meaningful impact or prioritize his own survival, all while confronting the ultimate test on the day he meets his end.
