Big (TV Series) (2012) follows the life of Gil Da-ran (Lee Min-jung), a dedicated substitute teacher on a journey to obtain her teaching certificate. She is happily engaged to the charming and caring doctor, Seo Yoon-jae (Gong Yoo). Their relationship seems perfect until Yoon-jae suddenly becomes distant just a month before their wedding. Concurrently, Da-ran encounters an 18-year-old transfer student from the United States, Kang Kyung-joon (Shin Won-ho), who displays a unique attitude towards everyone except Da-ran. A tragic car accident involving Yoon-jae and Kyung-joon leads to a dramatic turn of events. Yoon-jae attempts to rescue Kyung-joon, but in the process, Yoon-jae appears to perish, while Kyung-joon falls into a coma. When Kyung-joon awakens, he finds himself in Yoon-jae's body, setting the stage for a complex and intriguing narrative.
