Amélia is a young lady from Lisbon that is abandoned by her boyfriend in her own anniversary day and loses her job in a hotdog kiosk. Her mother, housewife, makes money as a fortune teller and his sister is a unemployed actress. Nothing goes the right way in this portuguese house. Until a random episode changes everything. Amélia gets a job in a modern tavern and has the bad luck, or not, of her boss hearing her sing.
