Unas fotos en la ciudad de Sylvia

Before shooting "En la Ciudad de Sylvia", José Luis Guerín spent a lot of time shooting and working on a series of sketches that now come to light under the title Unas Fotos en la Ciudad de Sylvia. This film is absolutely independent as regards the aforementioned "En la Ciudad de Sylvia". "Unas Fotos must no be regarded as a draft, it is made from black and white photographs, silent, what it tells is a small elipsis between one still and the next one... Between the stills there is a time that gets away, a mistery unsolved... These self-imposed constraints required a first-person statement to act as the main thread of the story.
