Framed (1930) follows Rose Manning, the daughter of a notorious racketeer who meets a tragic end in a violent shootout alongside a police officer. Rose is subjected to intense interrogation by Police Inspector "Butch" McArthur, leaving her with a burning desire for vengeance. Five years later, Rose has transformed into a nightclub hostess, still entangled in the criminal underworld. She develops deep feelings for a young man named Jimmy, unaware that he is the son of the man she seeks to avenge. As the truth unfolds, Rose grapples with the dilemma of whether to pursue her revenge or surrender to her love for Jimmy.
