The Hunted (2003) unfolds in the dense forests of Silver Falls, Oregon, where Aaron Hallam, a former Special Forces assassin, has gone rogue and is on a violent rampage, targeting deer hunters. FBI Special Agent Abby Durrell enlists the help of L.T. Bonham, a retired Special Forces trainer, to apprehend the elusive killer. Initially reluctant, L.T. is compelled to take on the mission when he learns that Aaron was one of his most promising students. L.T. ventures into the wilderness, unarmed and haunted by his past, as he grapples with the guilt of ignoring Aaron's desperate pleas for help. As the two former allies face off in a deadly game of cat and mouse, the lines between hunter and hunted blur, leaving both men questioning their roles in this deadly confrontation.
