Echo in the Mountains

An enclave of Heike descendants has lived on a mountain in isolation for centuries and is reputed to abduct young women from surrounding communities for human sacrifice, but their real objective is to bring in new wives to expand their inbred gene pool. Their latest victim, a beauty named Oshina, turns out to be the refugee daughter of a noble family. Her father was killed by a powerful and evil lord who tried to take their family heirloom, a shamisen called Yamabiko. The Heike prince Kogenta instantly falls in love with Oshina and decides to marry her and avenge her father.
