Torchy Gets Her Man (1938) follows the thrilling tale of "100 Dollar Bill" Bailey, a cunning counterfeiter who has evaded law enforcement for over a decade. Bailey audaciously poses as Secret Service agent Charles Mitchell to deceive detectives McBride and McTavish, enlisting their assistance for a supposed sting operation at a racetrack. Unbeknownst to the officers, Bailey uses this ruse to swap his fake bills for genuine currency right under their noses. Enter Torchy, who, with the help of a temporarily released Gahagan and a loyal German shepherd named Blitzen, manages to infiltrate Bailey's counterfeiting operation and bring him to justice.
