Border Café (1937) follows the journey of Keith Whitney, a young man from the East, who is the son of a prominent Senator. His path leads him to the West, where he finds himself in a state of inebriation at a border café. After squandering the funds his father had sent him to purchase a ranch, Keith faces a turning point when he learns of his father's impending arrival. Rancher Tex steps in to assist, presenting Keith as a partial owner of the ranch to his father. When Keith's father and his girlfriend are abducted, Tex and a now-reformed Keith embark on a mission to rescue them.
