Synopsis of Night Freight
Forrest Tucker is the boss of a small railway who is in conflict with the local trucking mob. Thomas Gomez, the mob boss, does not like the fact that Tucker's railway is cutting into his profits. He does all he can do to sabotage the railway. Rail blockages, false alarms and the odd beating are handed out in an effort to get his point across. Gomez even hires Tucker's brother, Keith Larson, who is at odds with his brother over a girl. Gomez pumps Larson for info on what would best help him throw a monkey-wrench into the railway's works. Gomez however goes too far and plants explosives on a goods train. Larson sees the error of his ways and dispatches Gomez in a gun-battle. He then takes a breakneck train ride out of town in-order to get the explosives away before they explode.
