Origins of a Meal

The film opens with Moullet and his partner having a meal that consists of bananas, eggs and tuna. The question that gives rise to the documentary is: where do these products come from? So Moullet finds out which companies manufacture them and begins an investigation that takes him to Africa and Ecuador, to the origins of the production chain of tuna and banana. Who are these workers? How much do they earn? Do they earn more or less than a french worker? What do they eat? How do they live? Moullet tries to answer these questions from a marxist viewpoint.
