Kangaroo (1986) follows the journey of a gentle Englishman who, after World War I, seeks refuge in the tranquility of Australia. However, his peaceful intentions are disrupted when he finds himself entangled in the escalating conflicts between the burgeoning trade unions and the rising fascist groups.
