Cornered! (2009) unfolds in the grimy underbelly of Los Angeles, where an unidentified serial killer is systematically targeting and murdering patrons in convenience stores. The killer meticulously removes surveillance footage, leaving authorities baffled. The police department, desperate for leads, offers a substantial US$ 500,000 reward for information leading to the killer's capture. In a rundown convenience store, the owner Steve, his eclectic group of customers, including a phone sex worker named Mona and a prostitute named Jess, along with Steve's employee Donny Donut and his junkie nephew Jimmy, engage in a lively discussion with the delivery man Morty about what they would do if they were to apprehend the elusive killer. Suddenly, their speculative conversation is interrupted by a chilling reality as a masked assailant launches a brutal attack during a night of sheer terror.
