Dominic Noonan visits "his" red-light distric of Manchester. He hands out money to the unemployed, mediates in conflicts between neighbours, collects his dues (extorsion, gambling, prostitution, drugs) and settles accounts with his competitors, rivals, enemies... The life of a real capo, a head of the mob who is as generous as cruel, so powerful he can paralise the streets of Manchester for the funeral of his brother. Noonan is currently free after being accused of stabbing and clubbing a man to death.
