Bheja Fry 2 (2011) follows the story of Bharat Bhushan, an Income Tax Officer with a hidden passion for singing. His life takes an unexpected turn when he participates in and wins the game show "Aao Guess Kare," securing a substantial cash prize and a luxurious 3-day cruise. On board, he meets Ranjini, the hostess, and a diverse group of passengers, including Ajit Talwar and Kapoor. The latter two, displeased by Bharat's profession, suspect him of ulterior motives and bug his room. Ajit's attempt to eliminate Bharat goes awry, leading to both men ending up on a deserted island. As they await rescue, Bharat's cheerful demeanor and love for old Bollywood tunes clash with Ajit's urgency to return home for a crucial meeting. Their isolation takes a surprising turn when they realize they are not alone on the island.
