Wah Do Dem (2009) follows the story of Max, a young man residing in Brooklyn who finds joy in activities like soccer, skateboarding, and socializing with friends at local bars. The previous summer, Max and his girlfriend, Willow, secured a complimentary cruise to Jamaica. However, just two days before their departure, Willow abruptly ends their relationship. As his friends back out, Max finds himself embarking on the cruise solo, surrounded by an older crowd of fellow passengers. Throughout the journey, Max engages in various experiences, including flirtations with the ship's photographer, cocktail sessions with a celebrity juggler, and peculiar interactions with the sole other solitary traveler.
