Alexandra, a woman in her 20s, who lives with her mother and her mentally disabled younger brother, works at a textile factory in a small Romanian town. Under the communist anti-abortion decree, there are monthly genecology check-ups and women have their own way to deal with it. But this time, due to a surprise “parade” organized by the Party Secretary, Alexandra’s initial plan to dodge the system takes a drastic turn.
