Argentinian Lesson (2011) unfolds in the secluded Argentinean town of Azara, where Polish filmmaker Wojciech Staron creates an intimate documentary centered around his seven-year-old son, Janek. While Staron's wife educates the local Polish descendants in their ancestral language, Janek is enrolled in a Spanish-speaking school. Janek quickly forms a bond with Marcia, an 11-year-old local girl, and the two enjoy countless hours of play. However, the innocence of their childhood is gradually disrupted by Marcia's growing anxieties about her family's well-being.
