Ciega a citas (TV Series) (2009) follows the life of Lucía González, a 30-year-old journalist who finds herself in a rut. She's single, unhappy with her job, and dealing with her weight. Her younger sister, Irina Zabaleta, is the epitome of perfection and is about to get married. When Irina shares the news, their mother, Manucha, makes a wager: if Lucía can find a boyfriend and transform her appearance by the time of the wedding, Manucha will pay for the entire celebration. Determined to prove herself, Lucía embarks on a 258-day journey filled with comedic mishaps and romantic missteps in her quest to find a suitable partner.
