Rock My World (2002) follows a renowned rock band that faces an unexpected crisis when their charismatic frontman vanishes without a trace, leaving behind only his clothes near a waterfront. The remaining band members, now adrift and uncertain about their future, decide to hire a new member, played by Alicia Silverstone, to fill the void. This addition brings a fresh perspective and a shake-up to the band's dynamics. In an effort to reinvent their sound and write new material, the band retreats to a secluded mansion owned by a financially strapped aristocratic couple, Peter O'Toole and Joan Plowright. When the hired staff fails to show up, the couple steps in to serve as the butler and cook, leading to a clash of cultures that eventually evolves into mutual respect. Meanwhile, the band's record label attempts to manipulate them into signing a contract that would dictate their musical direction. The plot thickens when the original band leader resurfaces, revealing that his disappearance was a carefully orchestrated publicity stunt.
