Sorum (2001) follows Yong-hyun as he settles into an eerie apartment that feels strangely familiar. The residence was previously inhabited by a writer who met a tragic end by burning to death in his room, but this grim history doesn't faze the emotionally detached taxi driver. Directly across the hall, Yong-hyun's neighbor Jin-young suffers daily abuse from her husband. Her husband is aware of a gruesome murder that took place within the building approximately 30 years ago, a crime that inexplicably intertwines with the lives of all the characters. As unsettling secrets begin to surface, the residents find themselves on a chilling journey of terror.
