Sing for Darfur

Forty different mini-stories come together on the day a worldwide pop concert for Darfur is being held in Barcelona and we discover that the tragedy in Sudan has a different meaning for everyone, but brings some magic for those who care. The film takes place in the city of Barcelona on one day. It starts in the morning and it ends late at nite. During this day, we will follow the lives of 30 different people and see how they are connected to each other and Darfur. It will show how busy we all are with ourselves and our own little worlds. It seems that nowadays every ‘free’ moment is taken by mobile phones, television, emails, ipods, meetings, playstation, gameboys, second lives etc. It seems that there’s hardly any time to relax, contemplate, think and most important….feel. What’s your feeling about that? We often get so wrapped up in the importance of money or other things in life that we sometimes forget about the most important little things. Sing for Darfur will probably&hopefully act as a mirror for the busy busy people amongst us. And let’s hope the calm folks will appreciate it as well...
