In a Glass Cage

During the Second World War, Doctor Klaus tortured, abused and killed deported boys. When the conflict comes to an end, a suicide attempt obliges him to remain connected to an iron lung. The appearance of a boy offering to take care of him establishes a sordid relationship of desire, vengeance and personality appropriation between the two of them. Evil’s fascination was the focal point of one of the most controversial movies in the career of a director known for swimming against the tide.
