This documentary tells the story of the man who invented a new cinematographic genre, the Italian Western, a mixture of reality and fiction, fairytales and historical events. Sergio Leone tell us about his first job as voluntary assistant and extra on the set of Bicycle Thieves by De Sica and his troubles securing funds for the For a Few Dollars More and the extraordinary success that immediately followed. He describes his characters, his relationship with the actors and the importance that music has in his films and the origin of his inspiration.
