The Glorious Team Batista

The "Batista Operation" is an innovative surgical procedure on the human heart that's quite risky - but Tojo University Hospital's crack team is working on a streak of over twenty successful operations in a row, earning them the title "Glorious Team Batista" But when a number of their patients die on the operating table suspicions are aroused. The hospital asks internal investigator Taguchi to take a look at the 7-member team, and while she does uncover a complex web of clashing personalities and shifty motivations, she doesn't truly see anything amiss. Enter national health ministry official Shiratori, who strides into Tojo and orders Taguchi to reopen her investigation. He believes that murder is definitely on the agenda, and proceeds to run amok all over the hospital to prove his point. It's a point well taken, as the casualties continue even with Taguchi and Shiratori on the watch butting heads all the while. With the reputation of the hospital on the line, will Taguchi and Shiratori be able to put their differences aside and determine which member of the Glorious Team Batista is, in fact, a murderer?
