Toy Soldiers (1991) centers around Billy Tepper, the charismatic leader of a defiant group of students at The Regis School. Having been expelled from three prestigious private institutions, Billy's rebellious streak is well-documented. His closest ally, Joey Trotta, is the son of the New York Mafia's top boss. The parents of Billy, Joey, and their friends hold significant influence, though not all are involved in criminal activities. The plot thickens when Luis Cali, seeking revenge for his father's imprisonment, targets the son of the presiding judge. Finding the judge's son absent, Cali shifts his plan to take the entire student body of The Regis School hostage, leveraging their influential parents as bargaining chips.
