Fisherman's Fire

Hit hard by a prolonged scarcity of fish, fisherman Chun-sam goes out fishing to pay off his debt to Clerk Jang where he meets an unexpected death. Clerk Jang wants to take Chun-sam's daughter In-sun as his mistress in exchange of his money. In-sun is in love with Cheon-seok and cannot make up her mind when Ok-bun asks her to come up to Seoul. Cheol-soo, the son of Clerk Jang, harbors evil intentions for In-sun and In-sun decides to go to Seoul with him to pay off her father's debt. After losing her virginity to Cheol-soo, In-sun becomes devastated and moves to Ok-bun's house. But when she is unable to get a job, she refuses to burden Ok-bun and chooses to become a geisha.
